EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 11, 2012) - Enbridge Pipelines Inc. and partners will coordinate an emergency response training exercise on the North Saskatchewan River near the 50th Street boat launch in Capilano Park. The exercise will simulate an emergency response to a spill on the river.
Those in the area can expect to see emergency response equipment and personnel, including boats, booms and other equipment deployed to the scene.
Enbridge asks citizens and media to follow the directions of emergency personnel and employees on site and to respect any barriers marking the working area on the river and around the boat launch.
