TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 8, 2011) - As a result of the postal strike, Enbridge's (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) ability to mail bills and its customers' ability to mail payments may be affected. While customers remain responsible for making payments on their accounts, Enbridge Gas Distribution offers options to help its customers manage their accounts during this time.
"Enbridge Gas Distribution is committed to helping our residential customers keep their accounts up to date and we encourage customers to ensure payments are current," says Enbridge Gas Distribution Vice President Arunas Pleckaitis. "While the most convenient alternative to receive a bill for the majority of affected customers is paperless billing, it is just one of the ways to find out how much you owe. There are also a number of payment alternatives."
Customers who normally receive a paper bill by mail can find out their current balance owing in a number of ways:
-- Register for myEnbridge. In minutes customers can sign-up for myEnbridge, which allows them to retrieve account balances online.
