Enbridge to hold investment community conference and list common shares on New York Stock Exchange

CALGARY, ALBERTA--Enbridge Inc. will hold its third annual

Enbridge Day investment community conference October 11 in

Toronto, Ontario. Investors will hear senior management outline

current operations, strategies and the Company's growth

opportunities. Patrick D. Daniel, President & Chief Executive

Officer, commented, "Our senior management team is excited to

share our vision and strategies with the investment community. We

will discuss how Enbridge is positioned to achieve the "Next Level

of Energy" - the next level reflecting our emergence as a premier

North American energy delivery player."

Investors may participate in the Enbridge Day conference via a

live Internet webcast commencing at 8:15 a.m. Eastern time (6:15

a.m. Mountain time). Interested parties may access the conference

web cast through http://www.enbridge.com/investor and by following

the conference web cast registration link under Investor News.

This web cast will include an accompanying slide show, which will

be archived and available for replay approximately two hours after

the live event.

Enbridge also announced today that it will list its common shares

on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and that trading is expected

to begin on or about October 30. Mr. Daniel remarked, "The NYSE

listing is consistent with Enbridge's investment profile and the

Company's objective of increasing its North American footprint."

The NYSE has authorized the Company's listing application and has

confirmed the Company's NYSE trading symbol will be "ENB", which

is the same as the Company's Toronto Stock Exchange symbol. As at

June 30, Enbridge had approximately 162.7 million common shares

issued and outstanding.
